The Roy Madison Broadcast Gondola
Friends, fans, and followers! Roy Madison is the (self assigned) literary laureate of East Vancouver Baseball. He’s rarely seen in person, unreliable with the facts, late with copy, and famous for long winded descriptions about almost anything — except action on the field.
Roy showed up in the spring of our inaugural season, and has been “covering” the league ever since. Apparently he spends the season living in a hotel, and comes from Hollywood, but we’re not really sure who he is, where he came from, or why he’s here. But in the open-minded community spirit of the league, we welcomed him with open gloves, and you should too. We all interpret the fantasy of baseball in our own way.
