Murder 4, Cobras 11

David Warnke wasted no opportunities at the plate on Saturday, driving in five on three hits to lead Chinatown Cobras past Mt Pleasant Murder 11-4 on Saturday. Warnke drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the fourth, and a single in the sixth.

In the first inning, Chinatown Cobras got their offense started. Chinatown Cobras scored one run when Warnke singled.

Chinatown Cobras took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth JP Maurice was hit by a pitch, driving in a run, Warnke doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs, and Natalie Warnke doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Chinatown Cobras put up five runs in the sixth inning. Joe Lawther, Jamie Smail, Warnke, Dave McCullough, and Stu McKillop powered the big inning with RBIs.

Jamie Cessford led things off on the hill for Chinatown Cobras. The righthander lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking one.

Mike Jorgenson was on the pitcher's mound for Mt Pleasant Murder. Jorgenson went three innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out four. Ryan Ruin threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.

Chinatown Cobras racked up 16 hits. Warnke, Lawther, McKillop, and Cessford each managed multiple hits for Chinatown Cobras. Lawther and Warnke all had three hits to lead Chinatown Cobras.

Mt Pleasant Murder racked up ten hits on the day. Jeremy Lemay, Ringer 1, and Ringer 2 each racked up multiple hits for Mt Pleasant Murder. Mt Pleasant Murder was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Lemay made the most plays with five.
